What is FREED: Recovery Support Group?
The FREED Recovery Support Group is a group program run by DDD Centre for Recovery, where you can participate to gain inspiration; connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges; and grow skills to move forward in your journey.
The Group is limited to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure a cozy and comfortable space.
Each session is 60-minutes long, and has a topic or a theme to guide our discussion and exploration.
We also invite our former clients to share their lived experience of recovery and beyond.
Who is the Group for?
Clients at DDD currently receiving individual treatment for their eating disorders or disordered eating
Age 16 years and over
Group Cost
$20 per session
Requirements for attending the Group
Must be receiving individual treatment from one of the DDD dietitians, and Group attendance agreed with your dietitian.
Agreement to the Terms and Conditions and the Group Confidentiality Agreement - these are outlined in the registration intake form.

Monday 15th April 5:30pm - 6:30pm AEST (online): Connection to Motivation to Recovery (for adult clients)
Saturday 11th May 9:30am - 10:30am AEST (online): Meal Support at Home (for parents, carers, and support person(s) of young clients)
Monday 3rd June 5:30pm - 6:30pm AEST (online): ADHD and Eating Disorders
