All dietitians at DDD Centre for Recovery are weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, gender-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally-sensitive. We each bring our unique lived experiences to the work we do to support our clients.

Fumi Somehara (she/her)
Principal Dietitian / Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician / Accredited Sports Dietitian / APD / Clinical Supervisor
Fumi approaches her work with curiosity and authenticity. She is experienced in supporting dancers and artists heal from food and body image struggles. Her special areas of interest include eating disorders (AN, BN, BED, OSFED, ARFID; culturally-supportive recovery) and dance nutrition. Aessandra is DDD Centre for Recovery’s dance nutrition project officer. She is passionate about helping dancers break free from restriction and perform at their best. Her special areas of interest include fertility, PCOS, gastrointestinal concerns, chronic dieting, RED-S, eating disorders (AN, BN, BED, OSFED), and sports nutrition.
