Kirby Olliver (nee Macdonald) (she/her)
Kirby (she/her) is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) who approaches her practice with patience and compassion.
Kirby works with children, adolescents and adults of all eating disorder presentations. Kirby’s practice is informed by her clinical and lived experience, supporting her clients with both evidence-based therapeutic frameworks and empathy. She is particularly passionate about decreasing stigma around mental health conditions and accessing treatment. Sessions with Kirby often include both guided nutrition rehabilitation and talking therapy, exploring client’s relationship with food and body and developing positive copies strategies.
Kirby also has specialist experience working with dancers and other athletes. Kirby previously lectured sports nutrition at the Australian College of Physical Education, and is an advocate for body respect and inclusivity in sport.
Kirby is also an eager learner, regularly participating in professional development and supervision to further her practice. Outside of the office, you can find Kirby playing sport and chasing her two cats.
